Rory McIlroy's passion for golf began at a tender age. As a toddler, he would spend countless hours practicing with his father in the backyard of their home in Northern Ireland.

Professional Success

McIlroy's talent quickly became apparent, and he turned professional in 2007 at just 18 years old. Since then, he has achieved remarkable success, winning four major championships and numerous other PGA and European Tour titles.

In 2011, McIlroy became the youngest player to win the PGA Championship at the age of 22. He went on to win the U.S. Open in 2011, the British Open in 2014, and the PGA Championship again in 2014.

McIlroy is known for his aggressive style of play and his remarkable driving distance. He is widely regarded as one of the best golfers in the world and has spent a significant amount of time ranked number one in the Official World Golf Ranking.
